The Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences is an international association established in 1963 to foster professional and scholarly activities in the field of criminal justice. ACJS promotes criminal justice education, research, and policy analysis within the discipline of criminal justice for both educators and practitioners.

The Southwest Journal of Criminal Justice (SWJCJ), the online, refereed journal of the Southwest Association of Criminal justice, a regional affiliate of the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences, is now accepting manuscripts for consideration. We are interested in receiving submissions of original work that have not been previously published. Diversity in theoretical and methodological approaches is encouraged as is the submission of policy-related research.

 Lambda Alpha Epsilon is an organization designed for students interested in pursuing a criminal justice career. You will meet others with the same goal and will create connections both professionally and socially. Lambda Alpha Epsilon also helps individuals gain critical skills needed in the workforce such as leadership, communication, organization, public   speaking and team building.

Lambda Alpha Epsilon is an organization dedicated to community service, fundraising, and providing a memorable experience for each and every member. Members of Lambda Alpha Epsilon can compete in Regional and National competitions that include but are not limited to: physical agility, crime scene investigation, written testing, and shooting.
